its great that you do so much for our friends, thats a good habit : ) but your friends needs time to get his knowledge in order, to try some things and start improving by himself. before this happened every critique would be useless, he just need friends that cheer him up in his artblocks now. im quite sure you can do this job : )

My buddy just joined dA, If you could, can you comment some on his dA? He needs some encouragement, he just started to draw... he is just after the stick-figure phase, but I showed him some techniques and he tries to draw in manga-style... If just check out his dA, I would be grateful. As his sensei and sempai I'd aprecieate your wasted time Here's his account ...
Just don't be too soft on him - let him suffer a bit! no just kiddin', It would be nice if you'll write what you think...
